  1. Hi Everybody! I had my surgery on 3/26. 7 days post-op and I'm feeling good. I haven't taken the pain medication since day 4. I try to have at least 2 protein shakes per day. I'm really trying to get all my fluids in but its hard. I'm on a 2 week liquid diet until next Wednesday. Like everybody else I'm having major head hunger issues.
  2. Congrats and good luck with everything

  5. Thanks for all the well wishes. I live in the Philadelphia area. I will be having my surgery at Penn Hospital.
  6. My surgery is scheduled for March 26. I started my preop diet today. 1000 calories 75 grams of Protein and 64oz of Water. So far so good. I'm super excited and nervous. I am ready to get this journey started. I haven’t told many people about the surgery. Just a few family members and my supervisors. They all have been very supportive throughout this process. I have FEP BCBS and they approved me in 48 hours.
  7. I don't have a date yet but my coordinator said around the middle of March. My last nutrition visit is February 17th.
