Hey all I'm from Woodbridge and I was just sleeved Monday 2/10/14

My appetite was pretty strong today actually! I kinda felt hungry all day. I had 2 shakes, some sugar free jello, broth and a lot of water. Keep your head up. I'm sure you'll definitely have lost some weight by the 25th!!

Congrats!! My surgery was this past Monday the 10th. Feeling much better since I've been home minus the gas pains. Wish you the best of luck on this wonderful journey we're taking!

I haven't weighed myself yet. I'm waiting til my first follow up on Tues

Hey Buckfever! I hope all is well after your surgery. I'm also from New Jersey. I'm 30yo started at 316 got down to 289 on the day of surgery. I was just sleeved on Mon 2/10/14. So far I feel great. Feel free to message me if you'd like to talk to someone local!! Good luck bud!!

That's good! I'm doing ok minus the very sharp gas pains in the left side of my stomach and a little tight cuz I can't walk around much since mother nature decided to give us another foot of snow!!

Hey Heather how are you feeling?

Good morning! So today is day 3 post-op and its getting a little better everyday. I do however have what feels like a huge air bubble in the left side of my stomach but other then that its not too bad. My shakes are going down pretty easily now too. Well that's all for now! Glad you're feeling a little better today. I have all the same feelings going on that you do. The pains deep in my stomach are so weird. I get such a bad gas bubble whenever I drink anything but I'm forcing myself anyway. Hope it gets better for you throughout the day! Keep us posted

Good morning guys and gals! So my first night home was a little rough. I'm used to sleeping on my stomach out of habit and I guess I went to roll onto my stomach a few times and I saw stars!! Otherwise not to much pain last night. Getting up from my bed is a little bit of an obstacle but I'm sure it'll get easier too. Just gotta take it one day at a time!!

Hey Jerziegirl! I'm 2 days post op now and still having a lot of pain and discomfort. My headaches have finally stopped and there's not much about food I'm missing right now. Haven't really been hungry. If you're a big coffee drinker like I was I highly recommend you start weening yourself off now. Don't wait until the last day of your preop diet like I did!! Where in NJ are you from and who are you having surgery done through?

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm glad I have you to talk to during this. Just remember this is a long term tool for a better healthier future. We got this!

Hey all. Thanks again for the well wishes!! Just got home from the hospital. Feels good to be home but my gas pains are horrendous. I'm hoping they start to get better soon. Everything else feels more like discomfort vs pain. I'll keep you guys updated!

Hey Heather I definitely feel your pain. I just got home and the gas pains are horrendous. Walking around definitely does help tho!

I can't believe they let you leave already. I couldn't imagine being home right now. My pain isn't unbearable but it is bad enough. But walking has been helping me, specially with getting rid of the gas pains

Ahh man I'm really sorry to hear that. I was in really bad pain earlier. Now they keep gibing mW double doses of pain meds so its not too bad. I really hope you feel better in the morning. Get some rest and we'll talk tomorrow!

Well my surgery is in just under 12 hours now. I'm really nervous and excited at the same time. I really can't wait to get my new life rolling and get myself healthy! I'll post up as soon as I can with some updates. Fingers crossed!

Oh ok. I have to be there at 6 but my surgery is at 730. I'll be praying all goes well for both of us!
