  1. I feel your pain. It takes a lot for me to get a whole shake down. It's starting to almost make me nauseous. I have a hard time getting a lot of water down too
  2. I'm sure you will!!! Just try to follow the drs instructions as closely as you can! I don't get really hungry or mind hungry. I kinda just try to eat something every few hours.
  3. Awesome!!! I haven't measured my waist
  4. I'm down 17.5 since surgery and 43.6 total since I started this whole process. I'm on the soft food diet right now so I've been eating egg whites for Breakfast, tuna or Soup for lunch and a Protein shake for dinner and sometimes another shake as a snack throughout the day. And I'm drinking a lot of Water. I've mostly been posting in this thread and one called pre op diet. Haven't really done much in the post-op yet
  5. Thanks!! I'm feeling pretty good! A little sore by one of my incisions but that's about all.
  6. I would definitely think that's way too soon to go back to work. I wouldn't have gone back after only 4 days. My Dr gave me 3 weeks off
  7. Ok good to know!! Thanks!! That sucks that it didn't agree with you. I had a little turkey the other day and it didn't bother me thankfully.
  8. I was just wondering the same thing today. I'm gonna call my nutritionist tomorrow. I've been craving apple slices with peanut butter!
  9. So today I'm 2 weeks post-op and I'm down 17.5lbs! I hope this keeps going!
  10. Doesn't sound too bad
  11. What kind of meat did you eat?
  12. I haven't done baby meats yet but I have had some baby yogurts
  13. Awesome!! Keep it going!!
  14. Hi Stacey!! It is going to be tough but you'll get through it!! If I can. Anyone can!!!! Best of luck to you!!!
  15. Lol I feel your pain!
  16. Yeah that's what happens to me too. I'm pretty sure that's our stomachs saying we've had enough
  17. I really can't believe the small amount of food that makes me full. It's definitely gonna be an adjustment!
  18. Yeah that's something I'm definitely gonna have to watch for. I used to tend to eat very fast so I'm gonna have to watch myself! I'm definitely interested in all of us getting together!!
  19. That's awesome!! I'm feeling pretty good too! My incisions don't really hurt much but they are ridiculously itchy. I just wanna scratch the hell out of them!! I'm actually gonna have done mashed potatoes tomorrow when we go out to Rainforest Cafe for my nieces birthday. Not many other options!! I can't wait for meat!!! I feel like a savage!!
  20. How you feeling Heather?
  21. Yeah I think the thinner liquids go down a lot easier. The cheddar potato is a lot thicker so it probably filled you more.
  22. Today I had a French onion soup from long horn without the cheese. I ate a little bit of the bread(it was very soft) that was in it and some of the onions and I didn't have a problem. That's the closest to non liquids I've had. I have my first post-op follow up appoint. I'm gonna see what my Dr says and see if maybe I can start some mashed potatoes this week or something. We'll see
  23. Thanks!!! I'm really happy!! Can't wait to see how far I can go!!
