I have been clinically obese for 25 years. I have been aware of WLS since I was a kid as my mother was one of the first in the NYS area to have gastroplasty. I didn't have a weight problem until I had children. I finally made the decision after our three children were grown to focus on myself and my health. I am excited for my new life and am enjoying each day of the journey.
