I'm scheduled for surgery on July 22nd. This thread is great! It is so comforting reading about everyone's experiences. I'm scared, excited, and hopeful that this tool will enable me to lead a healthy lifestyle at a normal weight.

Hello everyone, I am meeting w the doctor tomorrow and I have so many questions, but my biggest issue right now is that I'm so scared for the psychological effects the surgery will have on me. Does anyone have some input?
