Thanks for all the tips! I'm currently on Day 5 of my shake drinking hell. Lol. I've been using sugar free carmel Torani syrup with my vanilla ones. It's okay. It's enough that it takes the chalky taste of it away. Right now I'm experimenting making one of them into a sort of pudding. I can't wait for my surgery on Jan. 30th!
So today I began my shakes in preparation for lapband surgery on Jan. 30th. I'm allowed 3 shakes and 250 calories worth of certain vegetables. It's been a challenging day! I think the hardest part is that I still have to make meals for my husband and son. I wish I could avoid all exposure to food! Lol
Thanks everyone for your replies! I met with Dr. Cobourn last month, and immediately felt at ease. My surgery is scheduled for January 31st. I start my shakes in a week! I'm very excited!
Hi, I'm new here and looking to have the Lapband done in the new year. I met with a very nice person from Slimband last week, but I'm concerned about some of the stuff I've heard and read about that place. I have an appointment with Smart Shape (SWLC) in Mississauga on Wed. Has anyone been to either of these clients? Which one is better/has the better reputation?
Thanks in advance!!
