  1. Hi all. I'm having my surgery on 8/7--I've just finished a 2 week liquid diet and today and tomorrow are my "clear liquid" days. I am a middle school teacher, married, and have a soon to be 6 year old daughter. My doctor is Bobby Bhasker-Rao in Palm Springs, CA. My starting weight is 333. I had droped to 316 as of Thursday--and I'm sure after the "bowel cleansing" tomorrow and after the clear liquid diet today and tomorrow I'll be even lighter when admited to the hospital. I'm very excited for my new life to begin and to have food not play such an important part of my life. I'm actually looking forward to the surgery for the beginning of that "new me". Any support/words of wisdom anyone can offer would be much appreciated. Good luck to all who are starting this adventure.
