  1. Tomorrow is my sleeve surgery! i'm almost through my one week of a liquid diet and I think yesterday was the hardest day. I had to give up my veggies which really got me through and I was feeling very hungry. Today is totally clear liquids and it is going pretty good. I will let you know how it goes. I'm excited and still pretty calm, just a knot in my stomach once in a while.
  2. I am pre-op at this point, going through all the steps for surgery and I am a Type 2 diabetic insulin dependent. I brought my triglycerides way down with Flaxseed oil capsules. It is a miracle to me!
  3. That is fantastic Idlewood4. I am hoping for the same when I have my surgery. Please keep us informed of what is happening as you go along.
  4. I am considering sleeve surgery and am going through the necessary medical testing and procedures now. I have a few questions about the need for insulin pre-op and post-op. Do you need less insulin during the two week pre-op liquid diet? Do you come home from the hospital off of insulin and only need it again if your blood glucose numbers go up? Not sure how this is handled. Thank you for any help.
