Sorry I haven't updated... They called me on Tuesday... I'm APPROVED!! They said they would be calling me with a class date and pre op testing date.. It's now Friday.. No more calls!?!?!? Am I being too impatient? Or is this unusual?

Hi! I'm here! My name is Jennifer and I live in Muncie. I'm pre op, pending insurance approval.

His morning I called Indiana Medicaid to check the status of my claim for approval. I was told that they have approved the room Jan 14-18, so I guess that's my date? The insurance specialist is gone until Monday at the surgeons office, so I can not check with her (ugh!) I am assuming that Medicaid will not approve a room if they aren't going to approve the actual procedure.. Right?

I'm so angry right now. The insurance lady can NOT get my paperwork right! All she has to do is send a PA form with my fax. She has messed it up twice now. I'm driving there tomorrow, I don't know what else to do. -

I'm in Muncie!! I have jumped through all the hoops and I'm waiting for Medicaid approval. I am an IU north patient, Dr. Selzer. I started my journey at Ball Bariatric in Muncie and decided the lap band wasn't for my... I'm a RNY kind of girl! I attend support meetings in Muncie still. My only complaint is I feel like I was left in the dark most of my journey about my specific requirements. I has to be pushy to get them! -

Well.. On Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I received notice that my approval was suspended. There was a mix up in the fax system. I'm still in limbo! Where are you from? -
Hello everyone! I am pending insurance approval. My surgeon is Dr. Selzer with IU. My mind is in a million pieces! I have no idea of a time frame. I was told that I would have a class next and some testing, then surgery. Has anyone else had Dr. Selzer that could help me with an idea of a time frame. The holidays are coming up and I can not make plans :-( thanks!
