It's 10 days away from my surgery date and it feels so surreal!!! #bundleofnerves

I am scheduled to be sleeved on the 27th, like 10 days from now, and I keep feeling that this is really not happening and if I get too excited, its goin to fall through. Am I losing my mind LOL!?!?! Give a girl a lil support )

Thanks rensterness and finally on my way. I am just having such a hard time emotionally, one thing goes right and five go wrong. I just went thru a bad break up and now I'm wondering who will be here for me if I do this on the 27th

Wow that's awesome! I am a nurse and I have had 11 surgeries total, I was in a bad car accident that required several of them and I'm still terrified lol.....that gives me hope and I'm glad you have done so well!!!

I keep wondering if I should postpone it but I have already done that a couple of times. I had my second ACL repair on 12/17 so my emotions are running high to say the least. I know it can only help my knee to get this weight off tho. I just needed someone to tell me it will all be ok

That's great!!!! My surgeon does not require any pre op diet, but I'm a little paranoid and think I should probably do one anyway?!? I'm an RN so I have enough training to be terrified...lol! I am just going back and forth from excitement to fear and need any pointers you could give me

Thank you. My injury isn't due to my weight. I had a auto accident 20 yrs ago and broke my knee then had numerous surgeries and was doing great until September, when I had a horrible fall to the same knee. Now the weight on my leg is an issue, It has to go!!

I am doing good but getting very nervous! I had an ACL repair done on 12/17 and am scheduled for the sleeve on 1/27. I'm still using my crutches and wondering if my knee if going to let me move forward with this? I should have been sleeved in October, but had to postpone it due to the knee injury and I don't want to put it off any longer!!!
