  8. I preregistered Monday and I felt same way. I'm excited and scared all at the same time!

  11. How often are you having to go down a size? I am trying to decide if I wanna shop as I go or put a few outfits in dif sizes in my closet....
  12. I think it's only natural to be nervous. I'm a nurse, have watched this surgery be done online, and have had a few other surgeries but I'm always nervous! They will take good care of you and if you tell them how nervous you are they can give you something to help. My sleeve is on 12/16 also! Good luck to all!
  13. I struggled with many emotions for several years before I decided to have surgery. During that time, I once again tried dieting and was my usual, lose 20 gain 30. I'm very excited about surgery but it's def a life altering decision and one only you can make. I need to lose 115+ pounds. I am now ready but I waited until I was. Good luck no matter which path you choose.
  14. As I've been browsing threads, I'm thinking the restrictions may not be as bad as I've built them up in my head. I do love sweets but I found a pumpkin cheesecake mousse you add protein powder to. I'm ready to be healthy so it'll all be worth it. And we are all here to support one another. I can't wait to see December sleevers progress pics!
  15. I work L&D too and it's been like non stop babies. Was worried about getting all my meals in cause a lot of nights we don't get lunch. Glad to hear ur managing with shakes. I've thought I may need to try that

  19. I've actually found I love zucchini in place of most pasta. If you haven't tried it, do!
  20. I got my approval next day after appointment! Hope you get yours soon! Surgery Dec. 16th
  21. And my surgery is December 16th also but I only have to do liquid diet the day before and a lovely bowel prep.
  22. Caffeine can cause dehydration. My nut has said very limited caffeine and no soda ever again. I guess each dr is different.
  23. I work L&D also and I know how you feel. My preggo ppl act so embarrassed to weigh 165.
  24. Goin today for my preop paperwork and testing. Then next week I meet with surgeon one last time for preop instructions. Then it's surgery the following Monday! Can't believe it's 2 weeks away!! I thought the 6 month insurance thing was gonna take forever but it flew by.
