  1. Hi! was banded last Tuesday 09/18. I had my follow-up appointment today, and forgot to ask when I can start exercising. I've been trying to walk as much as possible, but my energy level is still pretty low, and I think being a little more active might help this. How long do you think I should wait before going to the gym?< Also, I have a week and a half of liquids left - it's so hard! I want to chew! My new favorite food is 4 oz of fat-free refried Beans mixed with 4 oz of chicken broth and some seasonings. Who knew I'd crave beany mush? But it's really satisfying, high in Protein, and allows me to get some Fiber, too.
  2. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.. I had somehow gotten it in my head that burping was really, really bad for the band, and was really freaking out with the amount of burping I've been doing since the surgery.
  3. I was banded on 09/18, and the hardest thing for me is not being able to sleep on my tummy, too!
