Wow we're all so close in our dates! I haven't started a pre op diet/liquid diet yet... Haven't been told to do so. My pre surgery testing and nutrition class is on Monday, exactly a wk b4 my surgery. I think I start then... I wonder why some ppl have 2wk pre op diets, some have 1 wk diets & some don't diet at all.

Anybody in Michigan with an upcoming surgery?

Hello all!!! Im happy to join this forum so that I can meet others, get support, feedback, etc. I HAVE A DATE!!!! My surgery is scheduled for Monday 11/25/13!!! That's exactly 11 days away! I go for my pre surgical testing and nutrition class on Monday the 18th. I have mixed feelings, nervous sometimes, but overall excited and can't wait til it's over and I get on the losers bench! I'm located in Michigan... anybody else??? If not I'll definitely be on here! Any helpful info, supportive or encouraging words, things to prepare for would be greatly appreciated!!!!
