  1. I have to call tomorrow see if he wants to see me bc they knew I was going get fluids. If they don't will be for a 3mo visit in February You really should insist on going in. You shouldn't be having this much trouble.
  2. So glad you are feeling better! When do you see your Dr next?
  3. Glad you got checked out. Hope things get better soon!
  4. No maybe 2/3 times and its very dark and very little. I'm also having dizzy spells, muscle cramps, headaches, and my eyes are really dry. That's terrible. What has your Dr. said?
  5. HDo you feel bloated or nauseated when you drink it? I know we are advised not to drink through straws, but I bite it and sip and it goes down more easily and doesn't fill up stomach so quickly.
  6. I am loving the Splenda add-ins at Sonic. I get the Route 44 unsweet tea with mint and mango add ins ( sounds gross, but it's so good!). I wish I had gone to Woman's. Wasn't crazy about OLOL, but Dr. Hausmann and his staff are great!
  7. That's super! I was 256 in May, 235.5 pre-op and I'm 215 now. My goal weight is 135.
  8. Have you always had a problem drinking plain water or just since the surgery. I seldom drink plain water-- always add my plexus or crystal light. And I'm a tea addict.
  9. Dr. Hausmann, OLOL. Isn't LeBlanc in that group? Are you eating the sugar free Popsicles? That helped me a lot with hydration.
  10. What is the 5-day pouch test?
  11. Wow!! You are doing AWESOME! I'm only down 20.5 lbs since surgery. I have trouble with getting my fluids in, too. I use Crystal light, too and I've been on Plexus Slim since Aug. (lost 18 lbs pre-op.) I would rather have the satisfaction of food than be hydrated. I know that's wrong, but my issue is that I equate food with socializing, and feel left out. :-/. At my 3 wk visit, I was told I could have whatever is tolerated. Who did your surgery?
  12. Curious... Why do you ask people to pm you for this miracle? Why not share it with all? And why have the sleeve if it works so good? I started it pre op to try to lose weight before surgery, per doctor's instructions. I have gone thru trying to get approved by insurance for 10 years, so after all that, I was getting it done! Lol.
  13. I am 4 wks post-op and would love to communicate with some nearby sleevers!
  14. Message me. I will tell you how I lost 19.4 lbs in the 7 weeks before surgery and still doing it.
  15. My husband had the RNY 6 yrs ago. He started at 335, got down to 185 and then up to 220 where he has been for awhile. His job just changed, so he's walking at work more instead of just sitting at a desk and has dropped 5 lbs in 2 wks. He's also splitting meals with me, since I just had the sleeve 4 wks ago.
  16. For me, eating is a social activity as well as a life-sustaining one. My hardest hurdles have been dining out with friends and family and not bring able to fully "socialize ." It is getting better, though. I wish I could sleep through the holidays and wake up a new woman!
  17. Wow! That is awesome. How is your weight loss going? I feel like every time I eat a new or more substantial food, my progress stalls. :-/
  18. Good point. I will call tomorrow. Just saw your reply. Thanks!!!
  19. That's great to know. I have been afraid that the "new" foods I'm re-introducing are causing the stall. Mine has been so similar-- up and down a pound or so. Best wishes!
  20. Thanks for that info. No, I'm not on anything like Prilosec, but my heartburn has been horrible, so I was planning to inform my surgeon when I go this Wednesday. I'm having trouble getting in all if my water, too. Totally relate to the boredom factor, as well. Thanks!!!
  21. That's exactly where I am! Also, my stomach gurgles a lot and makes me think I am hungry! I really think I am getting hungry. Isn't the sleeve supposed to remove the hunger hormone?
  22. Hi Sissy! I had mine there on 10/28 with Dr. Hausmann.
