  1. no haven't gotten them yet, I was thinking probably be here tomorrow.Okay. The holidays may have delayed them.
  2. I did call my patient cord and she said it was okay just start over fresh with no fall offs. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was mixed with regular mayo. I don't think it was super bad but the mayo and bread was the bad part. Carbs are so hard for me to stop.
  3. We are the same day. It's beyond hard. But I'm going to hang in there. I fell off on day three but I'm going strong now.
  4. Have you received the bras yet?
  5. I was told just to keep my BMI below 50
  6. Which doctor are you using? My doctor is E. Ortiz. My surgery is on the 6th. I'm leaving on the 10th.E Ortiz also I'll arrive on the 9th - maybe we can meet my name is Ciji! We sure can I'm LaShundra.
  7. Which doctor are you using? My doctor is E. Ortiz. My surgery is on the 6th. I'm leaving on the 10th.
  8. I know the feeling. My husband was eating crab and i so wanted to dive into his plate. Instead i just nibbled on my salad.
  9. Our surgery is on the same day. I have to drink a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. At dinner I have to eat a salad with protein such as fish, egg, or chicken. Light, fat free or oil and vinegar dressing. 3 days before surgery I have to take a laxative and go on a all clear liquid diet with at least 2 shakes a day. I have noticed all doctors are different with the pre op diet. My friend is getting sleeve 2 days after me and she does not have to do a pre op diet at all. So my advise to you is just follow your doctors orders. Also the shakes make me sick and gives me the runs
  10. You are lucky only 2 days. I'm going insane.
  11. Sorry I mailed them all off Monday.
  12. That's great. You all will be sleeve buddies. I'm having my surgery in January 6th with him.
  13. I made it through Christmas and stuck to my diet. But my lord it's so hard. All I really want to do is sleep so I want have to think about it. I have come to realize its a mind thing and it's really working on me. But I'm going to stay strong. The end results will pay off.
  14. I had them in when I had my breast reduction
  15. That's great I'm going to see if my doctor offers that insurance. Better to be safe than sorry
  16. I can't wait to start posting here. I have all kinds of goodies.
  17. Sorry to hear that. I will pray that everything works out for you.
  18. I think pretty much all of them use drains. At least 98% of the doctors do. I did a ton of research and calling around before i choose my doctor. I've head good things about Dr. Lopez. When it comes down to it. You pick who you feel comfortable with. The process is emotional enough no need for someone to post a comment like that. We are here for support not to cause depression.
  19. We all will get to meet. That's great.
  20. That doctors is at MI Doctors Hospital correct? If so are you staying at the Marriott?
  21. If applicable you should try to have your primary care doctor prescribe you a weight loss medication called Adipex. You will loose about 10 to 12 pounds in the first 3 weeks. But you will have to stop taking them two weeks before surgery. It's a quick fix not really long term. At least it was not long term for me. You may want to skip Christmas and New Years dinner. If you do eat it just try a small taste of this and that. Start walking a little each day or use the treadmill if you can. I'm here if you need any support. We are going to loose those 20 pounds with no problem
