No it didn't hurt at all Good! I think I'm just working myself up for nothing. I sure am ready to get it out. It's the only source of pain I have now. They are very uncomfortable. I had two of them in back in September when I had my breast reduction. They were in for two weeks because I was draining so much. So I knew what to expect this time around.

I was not draining much and what was coming out was pretty clear. So I had it in for 2 and a half days.

My drains was removed the day I was discharged.

That's awesome. My surgery was on the 6th as well and I have only lost 8 pounds. The day I was released from the hospital I weighted more at that time then when the day of surgery. They told me it was from the IV fluids. So I'm down 8 pounds since 01/08

It takes me a very long time to drink anything. I had pain after the jello cup. I have to learn how to listen to my sleeve. Now I know how over eating feels. Can you say gas out of this world. I thought I was doing great until that last spoonful. I will never do that again.

Should I be able to eat an entire jello cup?

I just made it home today. It was great.

@Ally18 - Juice & Gatorade is allowed?? Wouldn't that be defeating the purpose of having this surgery??? Maintaining a sugar free diet from now on is the key to losing weight!Per my plan you can have G2 Gatorade and 100% juice. Just not a lot of it.

Walk, walk, walk. That will get the gas down. Also get gas x strips.

It does not hurt at all. It has a little sting at the end.

That's great. We are going out shopping today if you need anything let me know. My room number is the same as it was in the hospital 306. How funny.

I'm back at the hotel and I must say I feel 20 times better. I don't know if it's all the room and privacy I have or what. But I'm feeling awesome. I guess the removal of the drain has a lot to do with it.
