  1. Dr. K. is the greatest. The man has changed my life forever and he did it for $9950.00. The surgery went great and I went for a 4hr walk the night after (just hrs after). I went back to work 4 days later (programming and test frie alarms. You have chossen the very best as far as I am concerned.
  2. My name is Dave I get banded in 12 hrs 6'8" 409# and 165# to go
  3. I can not believe it is here... 3 weeks ago it was only an idea. I am so excited, nervous...
  4. I have a BMI of 46.7 and get banded on August 24th. A little nervous and a lot excited. My Sister had it done in March. I just can't waite till this time next year.
  5. Today I paid for the Surgery. 100% out of pocket but it was the best money ever spent. I am 35 years old 6'8" tall and weigh 405#s. My weight has fluctuated incredably over the last 18 years. I weighed mid 300's in the early 90's while play football in college, in the mid 90's weighed as little as 197# after getting a divorce and joining the army where i was a Ranger. Eight years ago I got remarried. I have six kids that I currently watch from the sidelines but can not keep up with. I am excited to have this surgery, the changes over the next years. Oh to be able to run with my kids.... To do a triatholon with my friends. Until next time

  7. My sister had the lapband done in march and my surgery is scheduled for August 24th. Her surgery was fifteen grand in seattle w/ one year of after care included and fills thereafter costing 75.00 each. My surgery is in Denver for 9950.00 w/ 3 months of after care included but my fills thereafter will only be 15.00 each. I can not believe the road that has gotten me here. I was an athlete in high school and college. I was a Ranger in the Army. 12 years ago I ran 10 miles in 61minutes and 4seconds. And yet here I am over 400 pounds and unable to walk a flight of stairs without a break. I watch my kids from the sidlines unable to share with them the knowledge and experience that I obtained at there age. I am excited and yet nervous
