  1. I tried a GNC brand that I thought I liked for a while until I didn't. I got a sample of unjury from my nut. and loved it. In fact, I started having an unjury shake for Breakfast a couple of months before my pre-op diet (which I am in now). You might like the strawberry sorbet (which I think you said you have) and can be mixed in Water or crystal light, etc. Also try their unflavored and the chicken Soup. I don't like so much sweetness so the chicken soup has been a life saver. The only problem with unjury is that it doesn't do well in very warm or hot water so you can't make a warm soup or add it to hot tea or coffee. I tried the coffee thing and it was a clumpy mess!
  2. Years ago I weaned myself off of coffee gently by switching to green tea. Something to consider. I'm hoping to slip some in post-surgery when I am in the liquids phase. Question for those who had bad headaches: how much coffee were you drinking daily before you cut back? I was drinking two cups a day and have been down to 1 for the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping that the withdrawal maybe won't be as bad since I only have 1 a day.
  3. I'm in day 2 of two week pre-op diet (3 shakes, small low carb, low fat meal & low fat dessert). I was not told to give up coffee (thank goodness!). I am worried about post-op however. Again, I was not told to give it up, but it will be at least a few days before I can have it.
