  1. Judi, you are awesome!!!! I am so proud of you!! If you got through that torture, you can get through anything. You WILL be the Beach Bash Goddess next year!
  2. Try and focus on the beautiful scenery and the friendships. Look towards the long haul. Next year you'll feel so much better and you'll look great!
  3. Mare, Thanks! Great job! - the other Marilyn
  4. Shelli, Pat and Kat, I'm also being banded on the 27th! I'm on 4 weeks of Optifast. Hoping my stomach will shrink soon so I won't be so hungry. I found it interesting that my surgeon said that with just one bite of food on vacation, I could ruin the whole thing, yet some people don't have to be on pre-op. Marilyn scheduled 8/27/07
  5. Frog, Good luck with all of your challenges. You can do it! Just look at the long haul. Be an inspiration to your sister. She'll probably come on board the band wagon when she sees how teriffic you do.
  6. After nine horrible months of testing, I finally have a date! I had low iron, so instead of telling me I could take 2 iron tablets with vitamin c to help absorbtion.... they kept sticking cameras in places that cameras out not be placed! At least I know I'm super healthy inside. Anyway, now I'm on Optifast for 4 weeks. How come I'm the only one on it this long? Yum :hungry: Good luck to those of you having your surgery before me..... um..... I guess that would be all of you! btw My surgeon is Dr. Zoe Deol in Troy, Mich.
