  5. Surgery 2 weeks from today!!! I'm so nervous. I don't have to do the preop diet because I lost 15 lbs at my last visit. But to be honest is rather do it so I stay on track. I have only told my mom about the surgery and she is staying with me for 2 weeks. I'll tell everyone else when I start losing the weight. I haven't had a big veg out session but I have been eating some foods I know I'll miss every other day. Like today I had a slice of pizza and salad for lunch... When I really wanted 3 slices!!! Lol. Each person tackles the surgery in their own way. Let's not put each other down but instead lift each other up.
  6. Dr. Forrester at overlook. I'm so excited. Had my last visit with the doctor yesterday. Lost 15lbs!!! I have horizon nj and I only had to have 2 visits withy the doctor, EKG, CXR, nut and psych eval. First visit was in October and getting sleeved in December. I was surprised by the turn around!!!

  8. When did you have your surgery?
  9. Hey everyone. I'm 27 and weigh 410 lbs. this has been a very quick process for me to get approved for the surgery. I had my second visit and actually gained 10 lbs!! Doctor told me to lose it by my visit tomorrow (I lost 12 according to my scale). I'm tentatively scheduled for dec 2 pending tomorrow's weigh in. But all this makes me think that I won't be able to lose the weight. I have 200+ lbs to lose and don't think I can do it. I have such a bad relationship with food. Anyone have any encouraging words or advice? How did you make it? HELP!!!!!!!
