    My surgery date is Nov. 8th. Need to know is GERD a part of life after the surgery? Do you have to take meds for the rest of your life? Does it go away? Someone recently told me there is an increase risk for esophageal cancer with the Sleeve.. Need some input please!!

    Just wanted to say Hi to everyone, new to this site and learning how to navigate! Excited, nervous and a bunch of other emotions going on! Never felt so unstable!! Lol!, Needed no pre op diet but decided to do it for 10 days, for the sake of my liver.. Surgery date is Nov. 8th Surgeon Dr Hans Schmidt Best of Luck to u all!!!
