  1. Struggling. Feeling hungry. Praying. conversing with others and felling a little better at the moment. Tried something different. Broccoli/cheese soup. :whoo:Had so much flavor. Thank goodness. I feel full right now. Taking things at a slow pace. Still feel a little discomfort but I keep telling myself. This too shal pass. God keep me and help me to remember why I made this choice.

  3. I began my process---2 years ago. I have been gathering infomation and researching the Lap Band for the last two years. In January of 2007, I made the decision to move forward. My insurance at the time would only cover 70 percent. They required me to be monitored by my doctor and if at the end of my 6 Months, I met all requirements--I would be approved. Well, I also made a goal to lose as much weight as I can. When I began the monitoring I was 307. When I weighed in on Monday before my surgery, I weighed 333lbs. It just appears that I keep getting bigger and bigger. My surgery was successful. I was banded on 8/6/07. This is my 3rd day. Some discomfort more than pain. Then I am going through the "what did I do to myself" stuff. The bottom line, I did this to put yearss back on my life. I am 35 and on two blood pressure medications. I have a family history of obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. I am trying to live to raise my only child. She means so much to me. :clap2:

  5. Now you have added to my tasty fish for the 18th. What is SBD? i am going to try the recipe with the egg, garlic, and parmesean chesse. Now can I grill this, or do I bake it?
  6. Hi, I am having a cookout the same day. I have decided with my mother's help to grill some halibut or cod on the grill with mashed potatoes and gravy. It now appears that I am trying desperately to eat lightly and drink plenty of fluids. When you get up that morning. Eat a smoothy, then for lunch your fish and mashed potatoes, then something else for dinner.
