  1. I'm officially in the middle of a very frustrating stall. However, to date, I've lost 20lbs. Surgery weight: 251.3 Current weight: 231.2 Frustrated - I've showed 2 gains on the scale this week, but I'm holding out for next week, and staying positive, dammit.
  2. I wear a RoadID. It's a specialty medical alert/identification system that allows them to see your current meds, meds you're allergic to/shouldn't have, your insurance info, emergency contact, and any surgical status. i love it!!! I put the little ID things on my Shine Fitness tracker band. 2 in 1!! love it!
  3. Prayers and hugs to today's sleevers! Thinking of you! <3
  4. My surgeon's office uses a 'team review' process. After the team 'accepted' me into the program, I got a letter detailing everything I had to do before the team review process, instructing me to do it all asap. I called, very confused. Evidently the 'new person' at the office had used the wrong template letter to send to everyone who had been approved at that team review. It's easy to make mistakes, and difficult to keep patients separate. I'm not saying what your office did was awesome, or even okay, but it is the end of the year, and I'm sure they're packed with patients trying to get done before January 1st. Trust me when I say, killing someone with sweetness is much better than being stinging or biting. I do what they do for a living. I've been there!
  5. I am so happy you listed this! I have been looking and looking for my notes from that appointment! I couldn't remember what the name of it was. Thank you!
  6. I got my date!!!! 12.12.13!!!!! Please add me to the roll call with my other three sleevies on the 12th? *i'd be doing cartwheels if i could
  7. I don't have an exact date yet, hoping for the 1st or 2nd week of december. Surgeon decided i don't need an EGD, yay!! Need all the pre-op stuff and whatnot, plus my last NUT visit on November 1st. I can barely stand the waiting. I am READY.
