  1. Thank you so much for your responses.
  2. Tinytears 96 pounds is awesome congrats. This may sound stupid but maybe you are stalled because you are stressing over it. I know when I'm stressing my blood sugar goes up and I gain a little. Of course I don't know anything about what happened with the body post surgery I just know how I react to stress now. Good luck and I hope you are able to break through soon.
  3. Hi everyone, so I went to my seminar yesterday. While it was very informative I feel more confused. I knew when I went in if I decided to have the surgery I would want the sleeve but now I'm not sure. Dr. Mo was saying that diabetic do better with the gastric bypass in terms of their diabetes being resolved. He also said that if you have reflux it is recommended that you do not have the sleeve. I really hadn't thought about considering the bypass because I simply did not want one. My sister had a bypass and she still has diabetes. Are there and diabetic or GERD sufferers that have any advice on their experience post surgery? I'd love to hear if if you want to share. I have decided to at least go in for the initial consultation. Hope everyone has a good night. God bless.
  4. Hello all my name is Liz. I'm 42 years old married with no children. I'm actually just considering the surgery due to all of the health issues I've been facing. To be honest I'm so scared of the thought of having surgery. I joined this site in hopes to get feedback on others experiences, fears, doubts before and after their surgeries. I have the seminar tomorrow. I want and really need a support system of people who truly understand what a difficult decision I will be making. Not all of my family likes or agrees with the fact that I'm considering surgery but I don't know what else to do to save my life. I really commend all of you on your courage. Peace and blessings.
