  1. What low numbers? I have not had the lap and yet. Just found out today I have to wait until march to have surgery because I have to go through a six month period with my primary physician. So I will keep pushing on.
  2. I exercise at least five days a week for an hour. I do cardio and strength training. I am pushing to have the lap and surgery in December. I love exercising. I am concerned about sagging skin after surgery. Has anyone had this problem? So far I have lost 32 lbs on my own. I am hoping to lose another 77 with the lap and because I definitely plan to keep working out. Any advice in how to avoid sagging skin? My current weight is 230. Last year in December I weighed 262. I am trying. Food does not control me
  3. Can anyone tell me if you have loss with the lapband ? I know gastric patients do. I don't want my hair to come out
  4. I should have done this first. I am new to this sight. My name is ladyshaw and I am 40 yrs.old. I have been married to my husband for 19 years. We have 3 children ,the youngest is 5 . The other two are two are 22 and 19. I decided to do weight loss surgery for several reasons. The most important reason being my health and the horrible obesity genes in my family. I am afraid of reaching the point of no return. I have an avid physical activity life and I am conscious of what and how much I eat. But I am still afraid of failing with the lapband. I just really need this too work in my life. I know with Jesus all things are possible . Any suggestions pros or cons? I schedule my surgery today hopefully
