Hi! Looking for a sleeve buddy... my surgery date is 12/4. I'm 34 and 325 and 5'7. Looking for someone with similar stats and goals. My surgeon predicts my goal weight to be 180 ?. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of friends or family that understand what I'm going through and it's been tough so far... feeling alone. But I'm a super positive person that's looking to make the best life change ever. If you feel the same, let's be buddies ?

Hi everyone - My surgery date is next Monday, Dec 4. I've been wanting to have WLS for at least 5+ years and the day is finally approaching and I'm freaking out for the first time!!!! I've been 100% confident this is what I've wanted and needed to do until today! I don't know why I'm overthinking it -- I know this is the right thing for me. I think I'm just overwhelmed by the what-ifs and the control freak in me is dying. I've read a lot of posts here where a lot of people feel the same. I tried talking to my friends and family and they don't understand and I'm hoping to find support with you all ??.

Hi Sarah -- Thanks for the reply. Can you share with me anything about the approval process and what it was like? I was leaning towards UHC, but I am so confused and I want to make the right choice.

Hi all -- I just started with a new company and I have two options for insurance... UHC Choice Plus or Aetna Choice POS II. My summary of benefits for both say: Other Covered Services: Bariatric surgery. I'm trying to decide between the two and I'm hoping you all can help. I would like to have the Lap Band Surgery. My BMI is over 40. If anyone can share which one they had good luck with, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!
