  1. My restriction is not like it used to be. But I'm not always eating like I used to eat either. I still try to start my day with strictly protein so at least I can put off hunger until the afternoon. It is a day to day battle. I weigh myself every single day. If I don't I am afraid I will gain and not know it. I have to see every up and down. I have a few lbs I allow myself to be in. (160-163) My ultimate goal is 150 but just can't get there. Seeing how much work it is to stay where I am, I know it will be even harder to maintain at 150. So I'm not stressing out about not reaching my goal. I've gone from a size 24 to a 12. People say I'm thin enough. I really would like to be a size 10. Oh well.
  2. It will be 2 years for me in July of this year. I am down 70 lbs and 13 lbs til my goal.
  3. I'm actually Julie6 and started this thread. Just wanted comment on whats happening now. I understand I should be grateful for having lost anything at all but when you've been overweight almost all your life and you have a dream of getting to your goal, it is a bitter pill to swallow not actually reaching it. I had my surgery on July 15 of 2010. I still have not reached goal. I flucuate between 159 and 163. I may never reach my goal weight of 150. My body likes where its at and I'm ok with that. It sure beats 233 lbs. Some people reach their goal in record time. Some lose most, slowly. I'm healthy, reasonably attractive, but most importantly, I am self confident and can do more physically than I ever could before. Life is good now.
