I logged on this evening to se if anyone was having this problem. Here lately, every evening after dinner; I bloat up and look 9 month pregnant. I get severe gas pains and it so uncomfortable not to mention GROSS!! Why is this happening?

Wow, you are on your way to a better life! Keep it up, the hardest part is getting to the gym and you are doing it. I was banded in Aug. of '07 I weighed in at 238lbs., size 18 (very tight), and I am now @ 169 and in a size 10, I still have a little ways to go. I have been doing amazing!!!! I am in a size 10 started at a 20. The other day I messed up and ate too fast, so for the last 2 days nothing will stay down. I remember reading that some times the Benadryl strips will take swelling away?????????? Has anyone heard of this? Any suggestions??:thumbup:

how much weight did you lose and how fast? i feel like i am trying to manipulate this band. i was banded in july '07 and i have only lost 20 lbs.is there something wrong?

Hey Sweety, that is kind of discouraging to hear. I have to lose this weight I spent 15,000 of my savings for this. I have not had a fill and I am no different than I was before I was banded. Congrats on the 20 lbs. Dr. Wright was my doctor as well. I hope I can do better when I get the fills. Who determines the fill amount? Hello, I am from San Antonio. I live near Seaworld, graduated from UTSA, and I teach and I am a Realtor. I was banded July 16,2007, I have lost 9 lbs., but I am getting discouraged because I am so hungry. I should get my first fill on Aug. 13. How about you? Michelle
