  1. These are what was we called the "Golden Rules" at my surgeons office 1. Eat Protein first 2. Drink at least 64 ounces of Water daily. No drinking with meals (wait 30 minutes to eat after drinking, wait 30 minutes to drink after eating) 3. Take Vitamins daily 4. Exercise
  2. Hi! I'm nearly 10 years out and have had wt gain from losing sight of the 4 rules. I recently found "the 5 day pouch plan" by Kaye Bailey. Her website is very helpful and encouraging. I've dropped 10 pounds using this. It's been helpful to get back on track. I've just downloaded the fitness pal app and I know this will help me track and be more focused.

  5. Hi! I'm new to this. I'm several years out and getting back to basics. I'm following the golden 4 rules. I've dropped several pounds that I've put on while "being too comfortable". I don't remember how many calories are suggested for RNY patients. Any help/suggestions/advice much appreciated! Thanks!!!
