  1. Drop removed this morning. Surgeon is happy with fluids intake. Biggest issue at the moment is the drain on my left side. Sadly don't think it will be out until tomorrow. Hospital staff are amazing. How are you doing?
  2. Staceyd, had op yesterday, stapling complication so was in icu last night. Catheter and nose tube just removed. Hooray a glass of water. I am so grateful. Rest up.
  3. Good luck everyone with surgeries this coming week. I go in tomorrow at 6am.
  4. Hang in there team 28th...we are on the home stretch. Already Saturday night here in Australia!
  5. Last day of work is done. Boss is a nosey parker. Managed to squirm out of there without revealing too much. Sigh! Not back till 11//12. Hope it's enough.

  11. Everyone out there, what would you say the typical time on hospital is. I have been advised of 5 days.
  12. All those on the 28th count down with me... 6 more sleeps!!! I will most likely be the first in and first out as I am in Australia. What is the best advice you have been given through these forums?

  16. I'm also the 28th. Nervous, anxious and excited. Have been so diligent on my pre-op diet. Not sleeping well but figure I can sleep while in hospital. Less than 1week and we will be on the other side
  17. Molly, how much Benefiber are you using a day?
  18. You can do it! If you think about you health during the op it's great motivation, this can also help you prepare your mind for post-op. I am almost a week into my pre-op. Only thing I struggle with is water but keeping busy also helps.
  19. You're lucky. Only one week! I start this coming money 14th. Have pre-op on Tuesday. Becoming so real now.
