  1. Haven't heard from many July post-op patients. I had surgery July 29th. No complications at all. No food that doesn't agree, but my diet is the strictest I've heard of. 2 weeks Clear liquids, 2 weeks full liquids, 4 weeks puréed, and 4 weeks soft. I'm down 54 pounds in about 6 weeks. I've lost 120lb since December when I started the program. HW: 383lb. SW: 317lb. CW: 263lb

    August Post Ops

I get 80-100 g of protein a day. Ill usually have a coffee in the morning with unflavored unjury protein powder. That's 21. Then about 2 hours later ill have a 2x the protein yogurt which is 12 so at 33g. Then for lunch i have either an egg beaters omelet with fat free cheese or puréed canned chicken mixed with mashed potatoes and fat free cheese. Both of those are around 17g so now by noon I'm at 50g. I will then have a glass of skim milk 2 hours later which is 12 g for 12 oz. do now at 62. For dinner ill have whatever I had for lunch leftovers do another 17g so at 79. If I feel any hunger later towards bed ill have a 10 oz glass of skim milk and chocolate splendor unjury which is another 31 g so 110g for that day or if no shake at bed then ill still be at 80
  3. I'd be more than happy to talk to anyone wanting a mans perspective. I had surgery July 29th and I'm down 55 pounds in 6 weeks. My hospital does have the strictest diet I've seen though. 2 weeks Clear liquids. 2 weeks full liquids. 4 weeks puréed. 4 weeks soft foods. I'm in my second week of puréed and so far (knock on wood) have had 0 complications and no dumping at all. Also have had no foods I can't handle.
