Is anyone experiencing a decrease in sex drive? At first things were great, but now I just don't want to be bothered with it. Love my guy more than ever though. Just wondering if it is a hormone thing.

It's been so frustrating trying to reconnect. But...I'm down about 80 pounds. Working out really helped jump start things and get me over those initial stalls. Me checking into the hospital August 30,2013 and me December 26,2013

Had my gtube out last Thursday. Doing pretty well although not feeling anywhere near 100%. Srill tired and very sore.

Ive been MIA for a while because I had a huge complication. On oct 3rd I went to the dr because I was still having trouble with getting water and food to stay down. They immediately did an xray with barium and saw problem. I had surgery the next day. They removed scar tissue the size of a fist that was hardened like a rock. It was totally strangling my intestines. My drs had not seen anything like it in 18 years of practice. They removed the scar tissue, rerouted my intestines and basically did the bypass again. Im doing much much better now at 3 weeks post op (2nd). Most if not all my prior issues are gone. Everything's fine except I have this stupid gtube in my belly. Just an extra tool to help me get more.water and protein in if I need it. I despise it and dont use it though. So that's my story. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for sharing. I am super nervous about going back to work Friday but I have to. No one thinks I'm ready with all the frothing I do and neither do I. I still can't even stay up all day. Hopefully it will get better.

Fruit "juice"

I juiced an apple then added water. Anyone else done juice? So tired of flavored water packets.

18. Same issue here so I called my doctor. They said mucus is being created by your pouch as it heals. The mucus fills much of the pouch which causes nausea and even vomiting. As we heal the mucus will decrease. They suggested drinking a hot beverage 30 minutes before your meal to thin out the mucus and relax the pouch. Drinking it in the morning may help also.

I dream about food all the time. I dreamed about chicken, cakes, you name it.

I understand too. I was in a bit of a funk over it today and cried for a bit. I sure do hope this gets better.
21. I'm almost four weeks post op so I thought I could go out to breakfast with my family. I'm on soft foods so egg whites should be no problem, right? Wrong! I wasnt eating for five minutes when that all too familiar feeling hit me. Something was stuck. I was being super careful too. Thank God I live less than five minutes from the restaurant. I couldnt get out of there fast enough. When it did come up it was just thick foamy liquid(sorry). This happens almost every time I eat. Its so annoying.

I'm not ready yet.

It is the only thing I've had that had never given me an issue.
