  1. Very well said, I am not giving up I just have to change things up. I went into my revision surgery not sure of the scar tissue preventing it but in the end I got it so I will MAKE it work
  2. I'm trying to be positive, my lowest with he band was 163 and I would be estatic getting to that again. I had the band removed and I was at 180 , my surgeon wouldn't touch me for 6 months and I gained 28 lbs to 208. My sugars started to rise and I was eating healthy, I know for me it's all about portion control. I was 208 at prep diet start and 194 at surgery Aug 8th and I'm only down to 182. I have been logging my calories and it says not enough. I am about 800 calories a day.it has to start soon, out of choices.
  3. Dont be nervous! I had to have my band removed in emergency surgery and then wait 7 months for my rny. It was t he easiest surgery of all
  4. I have heard of people being nautious but that never happened to me. The thing's Ive heard is it doesn't last year
  5. Im in the same boat, it stinks
  6. I had the band in 2008 and it eroded into my stomach causing a gastric leak so I had it removed and then bypass 7 months later. Never doubted my decision and yge bypass was the easiest out of all 3 surgeries.
  7. Good info! They paid fot my band and rny when the band failed. Ty
  8. I was banded in 2008, December of 20 12 it eroded from the inside out, had it removed and spent 1 week in ICU. 7 months later just had rny and feel great! Sure wish I had done this in the beginning.
