  1. Had my surgery same day as you and like you not down 50 like Katie but I am losing
  2. Surgery date August 12 and weighed 290lb current wt 262lbs. I had a setback couple of wks ago where I gained 6lbs. Think I wasnt getting enough protein in so went back to the shakes. The foamies haven't came back yet and I lost 4lbs this wk. Its coming off slowly but surely.
  3. Thanks. I bought the ice tea with lemon and will definitely look for the pink lemonade and fruit punch.
  4. Anybody know of any drinks sweetened with splenda besides soft drinks? Did a google search and diet Arizona, snapple and mistic teas were listed. I went to grocery store and they were sweetened with aspartime. Since I can't have soft drinks I wanted a little variety from water.
  5. Thx everyone. Terry I'm going to try the soups. Only reason I haven't so far was the carbs/sugar contents.
  6. Visited with him on Friday and he said its been only 3 wks and it will go away. Because of this I have a follow up appt with him in 2 wks. The thought of food makes me nauseous and I never thought that would happen in a million years.
  7. Going on 3 wks post op and is on soft foods. After 2 wks was having problems with protein drinks now I have s foamy mouth and no desire to eat.. Vomiting foam and nothing else. Has anyone else experience this?
  8. Just join and I had my surgery August 12, 2013. As of Sunday the 11th I had lost 13lbs, but now I'm having a problem tolerating the protein shakes. Is anyone else experiencing this?
