1. Thanks so much! I'm doubly excited.
2. Hi there! I didn't have a preop diet. Just the day before was an all liquid diet. The handbook and doctor said no smoking or drinking alcohol six weeks before surgery. I know my friend had to do a fasting but she also needed to shrink down her liver and she went somewhere else. Who is your doctor, if you don't mind me asking.
3. Hey all, how is everyone? I haven't posted in awhile and really missed reading everyone's updates. Hope everyone is doing good. Well here is a quick up date about me. I had my surgery(bypass) August 15th 2013 highest wt 297 surgery wt 282. Was a tight size 24/26 jeans & 3/4x tops As of today a little over six months post-op I broke into wONEderland! Current wt 196 and wearing a size 16 jeans & large top. 14 more lbs until I've lost 100lbs! Oh and hair still falling out... I'm just wondering how long I will continue to lose weight as I'm also 14 weeks prego! I'm glad I didn't get rid of all of my bigger clothes, now I don't have to buy to many maternity clothes lol! Keep positive everyone ♡
4. I cut my hair short too due to the hair lose. My was always really long like down pass my butt long and extremely thick. I'm sure our hair will come back. Your hair cut looks cute!

6. I'm so happy right now. In five months I'm down from a snug size 24/26 jeans to a loose 18 jeans and 1x tops. I also had to get new smaller bras! Yeah!!! :-) :-) Also being prego my boobs are getting bigger and not so deflated looking like they started to with loosing weight.
7. That is awesome! I'm laughing too. That must feel good though. :-)
8. 4.4lbs and it's onederland baby!
9. That is fantastic! Congratulations :-)
10. I'm thinking I might have to have my stomach dilated again. I'm starting to the same have issues with food and water that I had before and ended up in the hospital for a week. I go see my surgeon Wednesday.
11. Thank you! This def wasn't expected as I thought for the longest time I couldn't get pregnant but when that test came back positive I was /am in complete shock!
12. I have some big news to share with you all. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant!!! I thought this would never happen for me and my husband. I need to go talk to my surgeon as I am only shy of five months post-op. This def wasn't planned or even expected so Im a little anxious about how my body is going to handle this pregnancy on top of still healing from the bypass. Still I'm shock abd and extremely excited!
13. I find myself doing this all the time now too. I feel like such a lady!

15. My nsv happened Saturday. I just got a cute new hair cute and had to go get cash due to the system being down at the salon. I went to 7-11 and was leaving the store when on of my friends walked right past me as if she didn't know me. I slapped her on her butt and she turned around having a look of shock on her face that was priceless! It took her a second to realize it was me. She had no words! It was pretty funny and made my day!
16. That does sound good too. I'll ask the doc and see what he has to say. I hope it doesn't stretch the stomach or increase appetite. :-(
17. Does anyone know if we will ever be able to have carbonated drinks again? I wasn't much of a soda drinker but I have been having a craving for pepsi!
18. 13 more lbs until Onederland! Also I had a great check up on Thursday and the doc said I can have chicken and caffeine! Whoop!!!!
19. So it's getting cold out. I found this diet swiss miss hot cocco. I make it with nonfat milk and some sugar free chocolate coffee-mate. Sooo good not many calories and getting protein from the milk. Also can add some protein powder. Not an everyday drink but nice for a cold night!
20. This is what I'm wanting to accomplish!
21. Hey ladies and any gents. I was wondering if anyone knows the deal about caffeine? I was told in the beginning no caffeine but that was pre-op. I don't see my doc for a few more weeks so I thought I'd ask my peeps! Also Happy Thanksgiving...stay strong!
22. I hope the hair loss slows down soon. I have thick hair too and always getting complements. Now I feel like I'm going bald! I'm taking extra biotin I'm hoping that will help as well. :-)
23. Thanks Kparadisek! I'm happy to be back too, I've really missed reading people's updates. It really helps keeping me going. Also happy to be feeling better and out of the hospital!
24. So I'm reading a lot of people are eating all these different kinds of foods (carbs) and what seems like large amounts of them. I'm still only able to eat two ounces and I weigh every meal to make sure it's two ounces. Also I'm still restricted to lean ground Turkey/ hambuger; cooked veggies and dairy. Still not been cleared to have chicken and def no carbs! What is everyone elses diet like right now?
