  1. Hi all - I have surgery scheduled June 5th and am leaving for an 11 day vacation out west on July 3rd (one month after surgery). We are flying out there and driving around to diff states the rest of the days, then flying back. Am wondering how difficult this will by? Any feedback on how you were feeling/energy level one month post-op? Thank you!

  3. I just started my pre-op diet yesterday. I am super hungry...but guess that is to be expected. We can have 3 protein shakes/day, 2 protein bars/day and one very small meal w/ 6oz protein, 2 c. raw veggies or 1c cooked veggies, 1tsp of oil/butter and 1/2 c starch - total of 1115 calories. The only think keeping me motivated is that the more I stick to it, the easier it will be for the doc to do the surgery. Really want it to be as easy as possible for him so there are no mistakes. It's rough. I can relate to you and you have been doing it longer.
  4. Hi there - Anyone want to be a Buddy/Mentor in the Lehigh Valley, PA area? I am having surgery on June 5th. I had expected to have the Sleeve but my doc thinks GP is better for several reasons. So, suddenly I am having a surgery I hadn't prepared for in my head. I am ok with his recommendation and agree but have questions.
