  1. Congratulations! I know what you mean...I too look forward to that number. Great job!
  2. You look amazing! I am 1 month out and often come to this site to read stories and keep motivated. Thank you.
  3. I want to feel attractive around my husband. He is a great man and gives me compliments often. I want to improve my self esteem enough so I can truely learn how to accept those compliments! It really is a long journey...but getting better every day!
  4. Having a not so great day. Had surgery May 31st. Lost 22 lbs and 5inches at my appointment last week. I should feel great, but I am getting so stressed. I haven't lost one pound since June 14th. I had some complications following surgery and ended up with a blood clot to my lung. Feeling better from that now, but am still told to take it easy and doing only 20 minutes walking with 15 minutes of weights every other day...very week most days by the time I get home from work. My husband is very supportive but if I hear "oh, you will be alright" one more time I think I will throw up! I am trying to stay off the scales but at times I am almost obsessed with that number needing to drop on the scales. Ok..enough venting for now.
  5. I am 5'10. Set goal weight of 170. People/ friends will always say you look sickly as you loose weight. I have dieted my entire life and got down to 190 two years ago. Everyone at work said I looked so sick! I have a new outlook this time and have no willingness to listen to anyone not possitive. They will just have to get use to the new you!
  6. HW 316 SW 299. 5/31/13 CW 279 this is exciting...my husband is so happy to see me finally being happy again. It feels good to see the pounds disappear
  7. HW 316 SW 299. 5/31/13 CW 279 this is exiting...my husband is so happy to see me finally being happy again. It feels good to see the pounds disappear
  8. New to site. Surgery was May 31st. All went well. I think the tube was my worst pain. Released to go home on Monday. By Tuesday I started having bad upper back pains and thought it was gas pain. Ended up in the ER with a blood clot in my lung...obviously back in the hospital now. I did everything right...took my blood thinners...walked all the time. I never had any doubts about this surgery until now. Feeling really low. Anyone else know of someone with similar issues with clots?
