  1. What is in your pre-op diet? Congrats on the loss - isn't it motivating to know that it's finally going to stay off this time? ????
  2. I haven't had my appt yet with my surgeon - doing my mental health and such in two weeks. I attended one of his seminars, and it sounded like he doesn't put his patients on a pre-op diet. He said he just wants you to lose any weight you can before surgery so the procedure will be less risky. I've done my research and this guy is great and I really like him, but I WANT a structured, pre-op diet. I might have misunderstood him and he might put me on one when I go to my appt, but if he doesn't, does anyone know a good resource so I can do my own? I'm shooting for surgery in late June.
  3. Wow you look awesome! Congrats and thanks for the motivation!
  4. H! I'm 35 on May 21st and having rny in June. I feel old, too, but I know I've got a new life to look forward to after this!
  5. Hi there! So glad I found this app and this community! I am finishing the pre-qualification process this month and am shooting for RNY at the end of June - around the 20th hopefully. Can't wait to get to know you all and hear your stories. I've attached a link to my weight loss journey to this point and what lead me to this decision. It also links to my blog - I'm writing abut the entire process. I'm lessoflittlebit on myfitnesspal. Always looking for people going through the same thing I am !
