  1. On that subject. I went to Victoria's Secret today and i was able to get bras and panties! Such a good feeling!!
  2. So excited to report that I ran 3/4 of a mile today without stopping. While that may not seem like much to some of you, you must know that before I started losing weight I couldn't run for more than 30 seconds without getting winded. The best part is, I wasn't dying when I got off the treadmill and I probably could have kept going! Such an exciting day for me!
  3. HW 267 SW 240 (3-19-13) LW 199 Today 197 Officially down 70 LBS!!
  4. I am in the same spot I have been 198-199 for two weeks, I hit onederland and stopped losing I get between 700-900 cal a day and 90-110 g protein. Sometimes my water intake can be not as much as it should be but, the sudden stoppage has me worried. I work out on my days off (4 days a week and usually burn about 300-400 cal). I can't wait to start losing again. I also am a nurse and I am on my feet for 12 hours when I am working....
  5. Hi guys, checking in. I have been at a standstill for the last 2 weeks and it is getting frustrating. I hit onderland and boom it stopped. I have been 198-199 for two weeks. I have been working out a lot and trying to get all of my fluids and protein in. I get between 700-100 cal a day depending on the day and 90-110 g protein. Sometimes my water intake is not as much as it could be but, I am trying. I am really hoping to start losing again. I have a long way to go!
  6. First week since I had surgery that I did not go down at least a pound. I am still hanging out at 199. HW:267 SW:240 (3/19) LW:199.9 Current 199.2 GW:150
  7. I was diagnosed with it in 2001. I have had occurrences of it on and off since then. I lost 80 lbs after first being diagnosed and it was a HUGE help. I gained it back and the PTC came back with a vengeance. I have lost almost 70lbs including my pre-op weight loss and I have noticed a big difference.
  8. Am I reading this wrong? You lost 35 lbs and are almost at goal and you had surgery on March 8, 2013??
  9. I am still here. Had surgery on 3/19 and couldn't feel better. I am down 41lbs and that brings my weight to 199 lbs WOOHOO!! So happy to be in Onederland. Congratulations to all the Marchies, we are doing awesome!!
  10. So happy to say I am down three pounds this week and officially in Onderland!' 199 this morning for a total of 68 lbs!
  11. I am so excited I can hardly stand it 199.2 today!! I have never once regret this surgery not for one second! WOO HOO!! I can't wait to lose more!
  12. My surgeon required that I take 6 weeks off because of the lifting requirements in my job description. I think it was a good thing. For the first four weeks I was still a little sore if I overdid it and would occasionally need a nap. So the time off was wonderful. Good luck!
  13. I am 9 weeks post op and have lost 40lbs. and a total of 66lbs. I definitely have to keep an eye on my protein and make sure I am getting enough, and enough fluid in order to lose. I have one pound to go to onederland and I couldn't be happier. I on average, lose about 3lbs a week. I am a nurse and walk a lot at work and on my 4 days off a week, I do either aerobics or zumba and walk.
  14. My doc said flat diet gingerale was okay after surgery. That may help your craving. I have not tried carbonated soda.
  15. My doc said 6 weeks. I am a nurse and couldn't go back to work until then because of all the lifting that I have to do. I would wait another week to be safe.
  16. Last week 205 This week 202!! So close!! DOS 240 (3/19/13)

  19. YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! Congratulations on all your hard work paying off!
  20. I don't think mine is muscular it definitely seems to be aggravated by eating. I do not however, have any nausea or vomiting. I guess we will see what my surgeon says when I talk to him tomorrow.
  21. Candi, I do not have a gallbladder. Not sure what else it could be.
  22. For the past 24 hours I have been having the dull aching pain in the right upper quadrant of my abdomen just underneath my ribcage. It is a nagging pain that seems to come on a couple hours or so after eating. I called the surgeon on call and he told me to do liquids or pureed foods for the next 24 hours to see how it goes. I do not have a gallbladder it was removed long ago. Has anyone had anything similar to this happen, he suggested it could be a problem with the opening in my pouch? Any thoughts?
  23. Yep, since about 2 weeks post op I can't do milk or yogurt without dumping, cheese still seems to be okay, thankfully! My NUT said it is very common and often goes away after a while.
  24. Almost everyone hits a plateau within a couple weeks of surgery I hit mine at 3 weeks post op. Keep following your doctors instructions. It will work, the scale will move. Make sure you are getting in all your protein and fluid and make sure you are MOVING. Take a walk everyday. It really helps.
  25. HW: 267 SW:240 (3-19-13) Last week 215 This Week 212 down 3 lbs YIPPEE! GW:150 Can't wait for Onederland!
