  1. I am 5 weeks post op. I noticed the full feeling in my pouch by my 2 week mark. I don't eat too slow and I haven't vomited thank God. I measure my food though. Truthfully, not all the time. I can stop myself before I get the full feeling because I find the full feeling to be uncomfortable lol. so I kind of eat, then take it easy a bit to see if my pouch still has room. Then I will work on my veggies or fruits. I found this site called BariWare.com. It has a great tool to help you with your portions and storing food. Its great especially of you work. Check it out and see if it will be of help to you. Let me know what you think!!! ????
  2. Congratulations!!! My surgery was dec 7,2012. Today I am down 28 lbs. You will do just great, and you will begin your new life with a smile!!! I am excited for you!
  3. Hey Amanda, you have to be patient although its hard. My process was only 3 months because I have Tricare. That wait was long enough so I understand. I had my surgery Dec 7, 2012. Still all very new. Patience will be your best friend. Also use the time to research and changing your eating, so the transition will be easier. Good luck!!!
  4. Try some weight lifting to mix it up. This Friday I will be 1 month post op. I have been taking it easy by doing dance games on the Wii. I will start back up going to the gym on Friday. Walking the treadmill is like torture for me. If you roller skate go on Family nights. That works up a Sweat too
