  2. I'll send you a friends request on Facebook! I'm 20 and just had my surgery on the 17th!
  3. Thank you everyone! I just got the tubing removed for my IV and I'm hopefully being discharged later today!
  4. My surgery was a success besides my mom freaking out because it took them an hour longer then they said they would. I had a lot of muscle and the instruments kept bending from it. The nurses at CHOMP were wonderful! They put my glasses on me before I woke up in recovery AND let me where them into surgery but they took them off after I was put under. I also had a problem urinating for the longest time but I am now voiding my bladder just fine!
  5. I have my surgery on the 17th of this month! My surgeon is Dr. Vierra in Monterey California. I have a meeting with a nurse tomorrow to get my exact time and everything. I'm super excited! I'm 20 years old and my Doctor recommend I join a forum so here I am! I'm a college student and I'm hoping to get into the nursing program soon. Within a year or two. My mother, two aunts, my grandpa, and two of my cousins have had the gastric bypass so I have a lot of support at home.
