does anybody knows what caues lap band erosion. When they remove the band do they have to remove part of your stomach. Was this surgery even more painful than the initial band placement. How are you doing now?

Do you know why lap band erosion is common. Do you know anybody who has undergone the surgery to remove it

Can somebody please tell me if they know of anyone who this has happened to, that is the lap band starts eroding in on the stomach

That's amazing. I knew they didn't want us to drink while eating but I assumed it was cuz the liquid would fill up the pouch first and not that it washed away the food quicker. Now a light bulb has gone off. Thanx so much.

I currently take ibuprofen 800 mg when I have pain, which is a huge pill. Otehrwise CVS pharmacy and Walgreens have their own little pills for long acting pain killers. In the beginning I had trouble taking pills but not anymore. Most of them can be broken down anyway. Good luck

I love diet soda and am still drinking it. I believe they r just afraid that if you drink soda with a meal you will fill up on the soda and then not eat the food that you really need such as protein

Well I currently am taking buproprion which is the generic form of Wellbutrin. I had the lap band six months ago and have no problem swallowing it so go for it.

I was wondering if you could plez tell me what you do to keep from "over eating." I had the band six months ago and only lost 35 pounds. I am at a bit of an impass as I LOVE candy. Pleze help

well I still emotional eat and had the band done six months ago. I often stomp all over myself cuz even with teh band you need to have your head on straight.
