Hi i am also from maryland ! I just had a revision on jan 29th . I am very happy with my decision ! I have lost 40 lbs . You do get full alot faster ! Proud mommy to three amazing babies!

It is like learning how to eat all over again ! When i get sick and i do sometimes i put it in my not eat that anymore pile lol . But maybe trying this will help you . I was very lucky i have a great dietain who teches great classes that show us how to eat with this surgey ! I never had that with the band ! Proud mommy to three amazing babies!

It also depends on how big you are before the surgey . I have lost 30 lbs since the 29th of jan but i also have 180 lbs to lose all together so i think thats way it had came off fast . I agree 100% with measuring your food . I measure a 1/4 to 1/2 cup at each sitting 3 to 4 times a day give myself a half a hour to eat if i have left overs in 30mins i trash it . I also keep myself busy for 15mins after eating to stop myself for eating because i think i am hungry ! Its all mind over matter . Proud mommy to three amazing babies!

Try not to to worry i did alot ! It is rough on some and others not so much , but the pain will go away just think of how great you will feel ! I have lost between 26 and 27 lbs in three weeks ! It took me six years to loss 40 with the band ! Your life will change for the better ! Here is a trick i would do before surgey when i would think of the pain .. I would go online and look at all the non plus size clothing stores and look at all the cute clothes , and tell myself that i would be wearing them soon ! I know its cheesy but it helped me ! I had my lapband to bypass surgey on the 29th of jan. It was rougher to me then the lap band . I was on my pain meds for two weeks now i just take tyenol every now and then . It does get better and better everyday ! I have not slept a whole night in my bed so i agree with getting a comfty chair ! Because i have been sleeping in mine for three weeks its just easier to get out of ! But bottom line is it is worth it ! The pain will go away and the results will be so worth it ! Copmom how have you been with eating and getting down liquid been ? I am getting in 48 oz of Water and about 2 Protein drinks in 24 hours and i am stuffed so affarid to try other things at this point. Proud mommy to three amazing babies!

Thsats the one i hate is my drain it makes me sick looking at it .The one i will say to everybody is if u are able to walk ! I try to walk as much as i cant ! It help pass the gas from your surgey and makes u feel 100% . Proud mommy to three amazing babies!

I had my band bypass revision surgey on tuesday the 29th . I am swore but it is the meds they give u keeps it pretty under control . The recovrey is more rough then the band but worth it ! Best of luck to you in your journey ! Proud mommy to three amazing babies!
