  1. I'm curious about this too. I'm at End Stage Renal Disease and, long story short, I sleep 12-14 hours a day. My drs seem to think RNY will make things better, but I don't see how this will give me any more energy to start exercising.
  2. No, not yet, although if I weren't having the RNY I would be getting prepared for an access point instead. Thank you for your prayers Snow, I truly appreciate them all!
  3. What is your why? I'm doing this because I need a kidney transplant and my kidney surgeon won't do the surgery until I lose 100 lbs. He suggested I do this so here I am. Unfortunately after jumping through all the hoops to get to this point, my kidneys have dropped to about 15% function. So I'm literally doing this to save my life. My why scares me even more!

  5. I'm a newbie too, been lurking for months, though. I'm happy to finally be able to post that I got my ins approval letter in the mail yesterday! I'm stalking my surgeons office now for my date... stupid answering machine! lol
