  9. Well just a few days ago I found this site and started snooping around and found out a great deal of good information. My story is A week ago I went to my informational meeting and now I'm waiting for my first meeting I come from far northern Minnesota and looking to have this done in Duluth My wife had it done there over a year ago and everything went great she was so excited to have it done and is looking awesome. Me on the other hand have lots of fears and worries about getting this done. I feel like its something I have to do other then want to do that may seem strange but I have type 2 diabetes and my blood pressure is creeping up. I have tried for over 2 years to loose weight but always lost the battle. I quit smoking 3 years ago and I thought that was a battle but this battle to lose weight is being a tough one. I'm not looking to have this done just to lose the weight but to lose my diabetes and other health problems I'm only 33 and I see guys in there 50 and 60 getting hip replacements and knee replacements and heart attacks and strokes and Id like to skip those things in my life time. Hope i'm not sounding selfish but I think this is the right thing to do and is the right time to get RNY glad to find the site and I'll probly just be the guy in the back of the room reading the post best of luck to you all I've watched my wife go through this and its a hard but a amazing trip
