  1. Did they sedate you? They said I wouldn't be put out but I would be 'fuzzy'. Of course if you were crying you weren't fully sedated, but were you fuzzy? Did you feel the pain through the fuzzy?
  2. Has anyone else had a mesh basket inserted through their neck to catch blood clots? I met with the surgeon today and with a BMI of 62 I am at significantly increased risk of complications. Other than compression socks and blood thinners she wants to have the basket put in one week before and it would stay until a month after. If you have had this done how was your experience? The mesh basket aside today's visit and the possible complications is very sobering and have me a little freaked out.
