  1. I was banded on 7/16. All went well except I had some sort of allergic reaction to the pain meds and still have an itchy rash covering more than 50% of my body. I am now on a full liquid diet and can't eat mushy food until 7/31. It sounds like some doctors let you start eating earlier than mine does. Hope all are well and good luck to those that are having surgery in the near future. I'm not sorry at all. The first few days a little tough but now am feeling great.:clap2:
  2. I was also banded on 7/16. It is only 2 days after surgery and am still a little tired. Let me know how things went with you.
  3. I am doing the preop diet now and will be banded on Monday. I only had to be on it for 10 days prior to the surgery. My diet constist of anything liquid, cream soups that are smoth and at least 50 grams of protein a day.
  4. I am doing the liquid diet now. I am allowed to have cream coups but am still finding it difficult. Surgury is scheduled for 7/16. Hope I can hang in there. I have 2 kids and a husband that just want to eat all the time and want me to cook. It is not their fault that I can't eat but being honest I don't even want to smell it cooking in the house. It will be easier I hope when I go back to work on Monday
