Katie those photos alone are a great motivation to me. Thank you for sharing your success.
I hope I have results just as favorable.
Best of luck in your ongoing journey.

Well gang I did it yesterday...took some pre-op pics. Then I went and had them developed at a target. Instantly I had proof as to why I need this surgery.
My underarms are flabby and sag, my man boobs are bigger than some girls I know and I have what looks like wings of fat on my back.
This is a good starting point. I'm using this as my fuel to keep my motivational fire burning strong.
That's awesome. Girl we are practically neighbors.
I live in Lehighton.
We need to altogether sometime so we can chat.
Feel free to text me anytime.

Hi friends. I am Jeff from Leighton, PA...about 30 minutes north of Allentown.
I'm new to the group. So far everyone has been amazing. My hospital of choice is Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Next week is my first appointment in their program. A structured physical with a nurse practitioner and all the initial paperwork.
Last evening my wife and I attended an information session at the facility of my first choice. The ENTIRE support team was there. Even one of the surgeons spoke.
I was so comfortable and excited that I called this morning to schedule my 3 months of pre-op classes and support groups.
Medication will finish in December so I should have my surgery in January or February.
Man am I excited!!!!!!!!!
After some alone time and reading Weightloss Surgery for Dummies I have decided to quit smoking NOW instead of waiting. Afterall....if I can commit to this the lifestyle change of surgery will be a lot easier.
The wife and I are both very excited and nervous. Information session is coming up Tuesday evening.
And today I am starting my before photos.
Jeff
Thank You Everyone. Just reading a few hello messages with success stories is very motivating.
The wife and I are going Tuesday evening for a free information session where the rolling ball starts it's journey.
Just knowing I can talk with others is such a calming relaxing feeling. Feels like I have another small family.
Thanks again.
Jeff
Hello everyone:
I am Jeff....38/Male from Pennsylvania.
About 29 months ago I was injured at work...as a PreHospital Nurse. The injury was to my talks, a fracture and also a grade 2 case of Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction.
Workers Comp had me to 3 Drs before we found out what was wrong. In August of 2010 I had a 3 joint fusion in my foot. A repeat procedure in August of 2011 for non union.
Since my injury and being confined to crutches I've packed on an additional 90 pounds. Currently I am 5'8" and weight 430#.
The surgeon demanded I have bariatric surgery before he fixes my foot.
The inability to move...let alone exercise is more frustrating than I'd have ever imagined.
I guess I just want to know that I'm not alone and most importantly that I will be on the road to recovery and can finally be able to walk again without crutches.
