  2. Hey thats great 41# in six weeks!!! That's wonderful. Right now veggies can be the enemy. I handle those really cheap pizzas by Tostinos but only the supreme flavor just fine. I have an egg intolerance so eggs aren't my thing either. My nut, wasn't big on me eating them until after 12 weeks. But my Dr standards are really strict post op diet was 2 weeks of clear liquids or jello, 2 weeks of full liquids, 2 weeks purée, 2 weeks soft and then regular. Peanut butter is a great source of protein. I remember losing 6# one week & nothing the next!
  3. My dr had me add powdered milk to everything when I got to the full liquid stage to bump up the protein. 1 scoop in yogurt, pudding, soup, shakes too! As for water try room temp. But if your having discomfort it might be gas… so try walking more (down the hall 2-3x) before and after sipping. I didn't get all 64oz in for a couple of weeks. Way to go, your doing great!
  4. You could buy staple pieces that you really like and then have them tailored.
  5. I was the same way could only tolerate beef & cheese hot dogs (yes ik they are horrid & a no-no) I ate a lot of yogurt, cottage cheese, string cheese it wasn't until about 18mo postop before I could eat an egg or ANY poultry or ham without throwing it up. Still can not do tuna or chicken in a can. Salmon I'm fine with. Talk with your dietician see what they say. They are there to guide you. Oh and the only way I can eat an egg if it's a egglands best (any other brand i get ill, crazy) and omlet with cheese. Hard boiled is instant sickness. Wait a few more months and try again. I started with lunch meats. Good luck & don't dispare. If you have to do more protein shakes. I'm 2+yrs post op and have a shake every am.

  8. I had three endo's before I was six months out. (rny) You will def get some answers. My stomach at new connection for sm intestine would close up. I wish you the best!
  9. I agree fluids are for me a half hr before/after meal. Also if you vomit a lot in a short time frame call Dr asap! Good luck!
  10. I had my rny 2y ago was told 4 sugars or less. Unless its milk sugar like yogurt, then the most important part is to make sure sugar or hfcs, isn't in the first five ingredients.
