  1. Well it looks like I may be headed back to the hospital for the next round. I got home Sunday after the 3rd surgery, and last night I started passing blood, had abdominal pain, and nausea. Probably doing scopes to see if I'm bleeding somewhere. I dont know that I can keep doing this, spirits are very low.
  2. I'm from Indiana as well, Angola area. I had surgery a week ago, but had complications and ended up having 3 surgeries in 4 days. I have a 23 yr old, a 22 yr old and we adopted our now 4 yr old special needs child. Had surgery on her 4 th Birthday. I want her to be healthy and happy as long as possible. Keep working hard to save the kids. Good luck with everything.

  4. I'm not sure if it's common. My Dr said only about 1%. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. It's comforting to know I'm not alone.

  12. Yes still in hospital. This is my 11th day in hospital since surgery. Thank you for all the prayers!
  13. I had 1st surgery (gastric bypass) on Wednesday July 25th. Felt better than I ever felt and went home early on the 26th. Woke up on the 27th vomiting blood. Took 3 hrs to get back to hospital and back to my surgeon. Bowel had flipped at the "Y" connection and caused a bowel obstruction. Went back to surgery for repair. Morning after 2nd surgery was doing a little better but then it went downhill from there. By that evening was still vomiting and in a lot of pain only to find out that the bowels had flipped again. Back to the OR for the 3rd surgery in 4 days. They opened this time to find out the connection wasn't long enough. Every time I would stand up to walk it would pull the connection and cause it to flip. I'm still in hospital waiting for my small bowels to repair and start working again. I keep telling my self it's got to get better than this. I've had nothing but ice chips for 9 days now. Has anyone else experienced this?
